A list of cold Weather Shelters 

There is a Freeze Warning in effect for much of the Treasure Coast this (Wednesday) evening….In addition, a wind chill advisory as well as advisories for coastal flooding and high surf….

A shelter will be open at the His Place Ministries in Melbourne. The shelter opens at 8 p.m. Wednesday and closes at 7 a.m. tomorrow.  Dinner and breakfast will be served.

In Indian River County, The Source opens at 9 p.m. on Wednesday and will be open through at least 6 p.m. on Friday.  Those planning to stay the night should arrive by 10 p.m..

Drop off toys or clothing to any St. Lucie County fire station.  They will be delivered beginning Christmas morning. If you'd like to volunteer to help or find out more, click HERE.

You can appeal FEMA's decisions on you hurricane Irma damage by calling 1-800-621-3362.  Lines are open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. seven days a week.
